Maria Van Allen is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and a Certified Nutrition Consultant. She began her career in health care by working at a traumatic brain injury unit which specialized in behavior modification. Since that time she has logged nearly eighteen years of experience in various areas of patient care. (Psychiatric Nursing, Hospital Administration, Pediatric Urgent Care, and Convenient Care Medicine) She was also a first responder on 9/11 at ground zero. She was a member of a four person triage team entering the rubble to treat firefighters and assist in the care of those that were injured.
In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Maria also has an outstanding background that includes a BS in nursing and a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Regis College in Weston, MA.
Maria has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients and customers. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs.
